Key responsibilities and skills:

• Lead all facets of architecture, design, development, upgrades, capacity planning, implementation and related activities of Enterprise Data Quality and Metadata solution, and large scale automation of related activities.
• Innovation driven mind-set; champion open-source technology adoption enabling modern data platform architecture.
• Overall experience of around 15 years working in data engineering, with a focus on designing and architecting data platforms and related engineering activities at a global financial services firm (Investment Banking or Capital Markets background preferred)
• 10+ years hands-on experience as technical / solution architect working on production grade projects.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Micro-Services (Spring Boot), Hibernate/JPA, caching framework like Gemfire, Redis etc. and experience with SQL, NoSQL (Mongo, MapR) databases.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow.
• Proficiency with working on cloud-based data platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, Snowflake etc.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data quality and data governance.
• Fully conversant with modern architectural principles like high performance computing architecture, micro services, data mesh etc.
• Define and drive strategic architecture for data quality platform.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to handle complex data challenges.

Education and Experience:

• Total experience of 12 to 15 years and currently working with 7+ years into technical architect role.
• Core java, Microservices, Spring boot.
• SQL database, NoSQL database they are moving to it, Hadoop, Kafka big data technologies.
• AWS will be must, implementation.
• Don’t source data architect.
