Job Description:

We are seeking talented individuals with strong testing skills and ability to own quality requirement of products to join our team. The primary role is to help ensure product quality, through the planning and execution of product testing to ensure that it meets the highest standards of reliability, user-friendliness, security and performance. Will also groom, lead and monitor a team of test engineers. Should be able to manage their deliverables, guide them, groom them and help troubleshoot issues they run into.

Required Skills:

• Application testing on both web application.
• Experience in creating test cases based on Functional Specifications.
• Experience in executing test cases and doing functional and backend verifications.
• Defect tracking and management with scrum tools like JIRA, Phabricator, etc.
• Preparing test plans and test reports with complete status of the product quality.
• Understanding of web concepts like HTTP, HTML, sessions, cookies, etc.
• Understanding of databases and basic queries.
• Should possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience with Test Automation Tools.
• Experience with leading a team of QA engineers.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with testing of modern web applications.
• Understanding and basic knowledge of AJAX, REST APIs, etc.

Education:

Formal education in Computer Science theory (B.E. / B. Tech. Comp Sci, MCS, MCA, CDAC)

Professional Skills:

• Participate in all aspects of product design and testing with a highly collaborative team.
• Should possess time management skills and should be able to work under strict deadlines.
• Should have an ability to work in a team environment as well as work individually, should be a self-starter.
